Negative Information Notice

Notice about late payments, missed payments, returned payments, defaults, and other negative account information.

This notice is intended to be clear and conspicuous: late payments, missed payments, returned payments, defaults, or other negative information may be reported to consumer reporting agencies where permitted by law.

1. Notice

We may report information about your account to consumer reporting agencies. Late payments, missed payments, returned payments, defaults, or other negative information on your account may be reflected in your consumer report.

2. What Negative Information Means

Negative information may include information concerning delinquencies, late payments, missed payments, insolvency, returned payments, charge-off status, default status, unresolved balances, or other forms of account default.

Negative information may affect your consumer report and may affect how third parties evaluate your credit standing, payment history, or account history.

3. Timing of Notice

This notice may be provided before negative information is furnished, at the time negative information is furnished, or within the period allowed by applicable law.

After notice is provided for a transaction, extension of credit, account, or customer relationship, additional negative information relating to the same transaction or account may be furnished without a separate notice where permitted by law.

4. How to Avoid Negative Reporting

  • Make required payments on time.
  • Keep payment methods current.
  • Notify E2 Distributors before a scheduled payment if you believe there is an account issue.
  • Respond to verification or account servicing requests promptly.
  • Contact E2 Distributors immediately if you believe a payment, order, or account status is wrong.

5. Disputing Negative Information

If you believe negative information is incomplete, inaccurate, fraudulent, or the result of identity theft, you may submit a direct dispute to E2 Distributors or dispute the information with the consumer reporting agency that prepared your consumer report.

Include your account information, the specific negative information being disputed, your explanation, and supporting documents.
